Kawasaki Ninja H2R

                                   Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a "supercharged supersport" class motorcycle in the Ninja sportbike series, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, featuring a variable-speed centrifugal-type supercharger.

About Ninja H2R

They may have sold out in 2016, but if you missed the opportunity, the Kawasaki H2 is back for 2017. In fact, there are two more options for the Indian buyer, the H2 Carbon and the full-fat H2R. Among the changes for 2017 are the addition of a rear Ohlins shock absorber with 22-step adjustment.

Complementing this is a six-axis Bosch IMU, which should make harnessing the H2's power a wee bit easier than before. There's also cornering ABS and a quickshifter that doesn't need the clutch for downshifts. Those who don't like being bent over all the time can opt for the Ergo-Fit handlebar, which makes the grips 2cm higher than usual. Also on the options list are heavier bar-end weights and frame sliders. The dashboard also shows the bank angle in real time now. The H2 range will not get the Euro 4 updates for India, since those have been reserved only for the European Union.

The H2 remains the base model, while the H2 Carbon is a neat way of offering a street-legal H2 that looks like the H2R. The Carbon is limited to 120 units and will offer a carbonfibre upper cowl, carbonfibre Akrapovic exhaust and a similar paint scheme as the H2R. It gets a small plaque on the supercharger telling you which of the 120 it is. Expect it to cost significantly more than the H2.

The H2R remains a track-only motorcycle and hideously expensive, but not much will be able to offer straight-line performance at the level the H2R offers.

2018 NINJA H2R VEHICLE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Ninja H2R motorcycle is a closed-course riding use only model and is not manufactured for use on public roads, streets or highways. All usage of this vehicle should be limited to riding on a closed-course.
Parts designed specifically for the Ninja H2R are for closed-course riding use only and cannot be purchased without proof of H2R ownership (product registration, VIN confirmation, etc.).
The exhaust sound level of the Ninja H2R at the time of factory shipment is 120 dB/A using Auto Cycle Union (ACU) guidelines. It is the owner’s responsibility to confirm that noise regulations of closed courses permit vehicles reaching this level of exhaust sound. Changes to the exhaust system may alter performance and sound level.
As a closed-course riding use only model, specific procedures must be followed when riding and maintaining the Ninja H2R:
VEHICLE TIRES:
The standard tires are designed exclusively for use on a closed-course. These specialty tires are not designed for oval or partial oval course use and may not be suitable for other courses or conditions. Kawasaki recommends that you follow the tire manufacturer's instructions and warnings, and that you consult the tire manufacturer to select the appropriate tires for the course or riding conditions.
Computer controlled systems including KIBS, KTRC, KCMF, KLCM, Kawasaki Engine Brake Control, and KQS are tuned with the standard tires. Use of tires other than the standard tires could affect performance of these systems.
STANDARD TIRES:
Front: Bridgestone, Racing Battlax V01F Soft
Rear: Bridgestone, Racing Battlax V01R Medium
TIRE WARMERS:
To prevent loss of tire grip, always use tire warmers to heat tires prior to riding the Ninja H2R. Cold tires do not provide sufficient grip and may cause loss of vehicle control and/or a crash which could result in injury or death.
VEHICLE STORAGE:
When storing the Ninja H2R, always use front and rear motorcycle stands that keep both tires off the ground. This will prevent tire deformation and adverse impacts on performance.
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE:
In addition to regular periodic maintenance, service inspections are required every 15 hours of engine operation above 8,000r/min (rpm). These service intervals are monitored through the vehicle’s ECU with service messages displayed on the multifunction meter. (See Owner’s Manual for additional information)
VEHICLE WARRANTY:
The Ninja H2R is sold “as-is” with no warranties, express or implied. The purchaser accepts all responsibilities concerning cost of service, maintenance and repairs.

Hero HXR 250R is a Buell-Designed Honda Fighter

Hero had shocked everyone when it debuted the HX250R earlier this year. Showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo India, the HX250R is Hero's first complete in-house development without any inputs from its erstwhile partner Honda. The HX250R has been designed and engineered in collaboration with the company's technology partner Erik Buell Racing, AVL and Engines Engineering: enriching it with typical sports calibre. Hero MotoCorp unveiled its first pure quarter-liter sports bike, HX250R in New Delhi in 2014 but due to some reasons, Hero didn't launch the production model of HX250R in Indian market. Meanwhile, the sales of Karizma R and ZMR, touched a new bottom, and both Karizmas were discontinued last year. Hero showcased the production-spec model of HX250R @ the Auto Expo 2016. It is now known as HX250 and the company also released the exact power, torque and top speed of the bike. Hero HX250 develops maximum power of 31 BHP @ 9000 rpm with maximum torque of 23 NM @ 7000 rpm.
