2017 KTM RC 2017 White Edition

The KTM RC 200 is the most track-focused machine you can buy under Rs 2.0 lakh. It’s got a super-committed riding posture, a perfectly balanced chassis and a powerful engine. These traits make it a wonderful machine on the track but is a bane in city traffic or while touring.

The new 2017 RC 200 is priced at Rs 1.72 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It costs about Rs. 5,000 more than the model it replaces. The fresher styling and a longer features list helps justify the increase in price

About RC200

The 2017 model year of the KTM RC200 doesn’t have mechanical updates, other than the fact that the engine is now BS4 compliant. A couple of changes have been made to its appearance – there are orange wheels, a white/orange paint scheme which has been introduced for 2017. Nothing else changes though, not even the price. That makes it a little more value for money, and as far as entry-level crotch rockets go, you can’t get much better than the RC200. There’s still no ABS, even as an option, and just like its elder sibling, it retains the scalpel-sharp handling that made us like it so much. If you’re looking for an all-new RC200, though, you’ll have to wait until the end of 2017 or beyond. There isn’t any real competition for the RC200 - the only other product that is as committed is the Yamaha YZF-R15, and that sits a segment below the RC200. The bike is priced at Rs 1,74,797 (ex-showroom,Delhi)

Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Kawasaki Ninja H2R The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is a "supercharged supersport" class motorcycle in the Ninja sportbike series, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, featuring a variable-speed centrifugal-type supercharger. About Ninja H2R They may have sold out in 2016, but if you missed the opportunity, the Kawasaki H2 is back for 2017. In fact, there are two more options for the Indian buyer, the H2 Carbon and the full-fat H2R. Among the changes for 2017 are the addition of a rear Ohlins shock absorber with 22-step adjustment.  Complementing this is a six-axis Bosch IMU, which should make harnessing the H2's power a wee bit easier than before. There's also cornering ABS and a quickshifter that doesn't need the clutch for downshifts. Those who don't like being bent over all the time can opt for the Ergo-Fit handlebar, which makes the grips 2cm higher than usual. Also on the options list are heavier bar-end weights

Hero HXR 250R is a Buell-Designed Honda Fighter

Hero had shocked everyone when it debuted the HX250R earlier this year. Showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo India, the HX250R is Hero's first complete in-house development without any inputs from its erstwhile partner Honda. The HX250R has been designed and engineered in collaboration with the company's technology partner Erik Buell Racing, AVL and Engines Engineering: enriching it with typical sports calibre. Hero MotoCorp unveiled its first pure quarter-liter sports bike, HX250R in New Delhi in 2014 but due to some reasons, Hero didn't launch the production model of HX250R in Indian market. Meanwhile, the sales of Karizma R and ZMR, touched a new bottom, and both Karizmas were discontinued last year. Hero showcased the production-spec model of HX250R @ the Auto Expo 2016. It is now known as HX250 and the company also released the exact power, torque and top speed of the bike. Hero HX250 develops maximum power of 31 BHP @ 9000 rpm with maximum torque of 23 NM @ 7000 rpm.
